I am a mother of an infant and have been using the moms co Natural Massage oil for babies for almost 4 months now. This post is an honest, non sponsored review of the moms co baby massage oil. After going through ingredients of various massage oils and judging the oils based on pocket friendliness, I stumbled upon the the moms co baby massage oil and I haven’t looked back since. Let’s look at the various factors as to why I am in love with this product:
Ingredients: The moms co baby massage oil is a blend of various essential and certified organic oils which are: Sesame oil, Sunflower oil, the good old coconut oil, Olive oil, Almond oil, Wheat Germ oil, Jojoba oil, Avocado oil, Orange essential oil, Rosehip oil and chamomile oil. Other ingredients are Natural Vitamin E and honey extract.
Sesame oil has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory properties and neutralizes free radicals. It also helps in developing bones because it is rich in calcium and omega fatty acids.
Sunflower oil is non-comedogenic in nature (won’t clog the pores). This is a non-irritating oil and suitable for all skin types.
Coconut oil is being used in our homes and helps with skin concerns such as dry skin, itchy skin, cuts, etc. Even doctors recommend it for surgical cuts. The only benefit of coconut mixed with other oils is that the oil does not solidify, which is a YAY!
Olive oil helps in muscle pains and has numerous benefits for hair growth and treats dry and itchy scalp. Also, the olive oil has skin brightening properties as well.
Almond oil has Vitamin E and provides nourishment to the skin.
Wheat germ oil moisturizes, heals dry skin and prevents scarring. It is loaded with vitamins which are beneficial for your skin.
Jojoba oil: Apart from the various benefits such as moisturizing, antibacterial, hypoallergenic oil. Furthermore, it helps control excessive sebum production. Helps in restoring skin’s natural pH.
Avocado oil acts as a natural SPF for baby’s skin.
Rosehip oil: This is a star ingredient and not found in various Indian massage oils. It brightens and even out the skin tone. Helps in fading scars or marks.
Orange oil has Vitamin C which reduces blemishes and dark spots. Also, boosts circulation in the skin.
Chamomile oil is known for its calming and soothing properties.
Harmful chemicals excluded: The oil is free from toxins such as mineral oil, paragons, sulphates and phenoxyethanol.
Packaging: The outer packaging is a cardboard packaging and the inner bottle is an opaque plastic one. The drawback that I felt was that you cannot see the amount of oil left in the bottle. Otherwise, decent packaging.
Texture/Color: The moms co baby massage oil is not very runny and neither very hick. It absorbs into the baby’s skin while massage and does not feel heavy. The oil is transparent and light yellow in color (looks like oil 😜).
Fragrance: The fragrance is not too strong or overpowering. It has a sweet smell and is likable.
How to use: Put the moms co baby massage oil onto your palm and rub it so as to warm the product. Massage your baby gently with the oil.
Price and Quantity: Priced at INR249 for 100ml bottle (pretty steep you would say) but trust me other products in the market are equally expensive and do not have such an impressive ingredients list. 100ml bottle will last you almost a month if you massage your baby twice a day. Also, the oil has to be used within 6 months of opening the bottle which should not be a problem if you regularly massage your baby. I have not tried the moms co baby hair oil but this oil can also be used as a hair oil as well. I did not face any issues with it.
the moms co products are made in India, and they use certified organic and natural products. Also, the moms co products are cruelty free and not tested on animals.

Final Verdict: Overall a good oil, an amazing concoction of oils which will help in nourishing your baby’s skin. Does a good job and I have been using it for 4 months now and my baby has not experienced any rashes. Natural and certified organic products. The only downside is that it is a bit heavy on the pocket but those who can afford it, I would urge you to try this massage oil.
